Yin-Ling Quock Organizer, San Francisco Bay Area
Yin met so many great people and enjoyed the vibe so much that, two months later, she decided to fill a vacancy on the organizing committee. Because she found the events to be helpful in meeting new people, Yin-Ling is committed to building a strong networking event where others can exchange cultures and have fun. Born in New York City,Yin-Ling moved to the suburbs of New Jersey at nine months old. She studied graphic design at Montclair State University, and after college, Yin-Ling found her niche in publication design while working for New Jersey Monthly Magazine. She went on to art-direct for Woman's World Magazine. Yin-Ling's first taste of overseas travel was at age sixteen, when she was a summer exchange student in Japan. That trip sparked her appetite for traveling, and she has since then ventured to London, Italy, Greece, and islands all over the Caribbean. She would love to explore Spain and China in the next year. On her 30th birthday, Yin-Ling made the bold decision to move across the country and call San Francisco home. In addition to doing freelance design, exploring the city has become a welcoming second job. In her spare time, she would like to get more involved in volunteer opportunities to make a difference in peoples' lives. In the meantime, she much enjoys the diversity of the city, socializing with new friends, and trying anything new.
