Maggie grew up in Henan, China, moved to the U.S. to attend high school and then college, and fell in love with the culture and the people.

After graduating with a liberal arts degree, Maggie moved to New York City to pursue her career path in the non-profit world. She is helping low-income Asian immigrant families to achieve self-sufficiency in this country.

During her spare time, Maggie is active in sports, in leadership development, and in meeting new people. She first heard about ORIENTED when she met Joanne Louie, ORIENTED's Head Organizer in New York, while attending a networking mixer. Soon after attending her very first ORIENTED Happy Hour, Maggie was thrilled to meet so many bright, successful, and dynamic professionals from all over. She quickly joined the ORIENTED organizing team, and the rest is history!
