Gloria was born in Hong Kong and at the age of five moved to Sacramento, California where she grew up. She received her B.S.
in Finance & Marketing
from UC Berkeley and has remained in the San Francisco Bay Area ever since.

After graduation, Gloria started with the Corporate Audit department at Bank
of America in San Francisco. Boring! Next, after a short stint as a Credit Analyst for Bank
of America's Financial Institutions group, she became an International Private Banker at Bank of America with a focus on Asian clients overseas.

Gloria is now a Vice President/Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch's Global Private Client group in San Francisco with a focus in wealth management services for clients in Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, and the U.S. In total, she has been in private banking for the last twelve years, with two of those years at Bank of America and the rest at Merrill Lynch.

Gloria speaks fluent English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, with a working knowledge of Shanghainese, and travels frequently to Taiwan, Hong Kong, and China on business.
