Angelina was born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Growing up in four different Malaysian cities, she enjoys her late night supper, night markets and holidays at Cameron Highlands with her family.

At the age of seventeen, Angelina was sponsored by HSBC Malaysia Berhad to attend an AFS exchange student program in the United States. There she attended high school for a year and lived with the Slagel family in Lewistown, Montana. Angelina graduated from the University of Montana in Missoula and earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with emphasis in International Business and Management.

During her college days, Angelina took many an opportunity to travel to New York, Chicago, Seattle, San Francisco, Las Vegas, San Diego, Vancouver, Salt Lake City, Grand Forks North Dakota, and all over the Big Sky State. She has even seen a real life baby Grizzlies bear at Yellowstone National Park! Go Griz!!!

After school, Angelina moved to the beautiful sunny shores of San Diego, California where she volunteered at the San Diego World Trade Center while looking for a full time job. At SDWTC, she was involved in the organization of trade missions to Asia, business network events and trade mixers.

After a look see visit to Beijing in October 2001, Angelina decided to move to Beijing in February 2002. She is currently working for Beijing Riviera, a high end luxury villa housing development where she is responsible for marketing promotions, events, corporate identity, media, advertisements and customer relationship management.

Angelina enjoys ethnic food outings, shopping, traveling, dancing, music, movies and spending quality time with her family and close friends. She does not know how long she will stay in Beijing but is enjoying herself in the city. Until the next leap of faith, Beijing will be her home for the time being.
