What We Do

On the last Thursday of every month, event organizers in 10 cities worldwide host the ORIENTED Happy Hours - all at the same time! The Happy Hours first launched in 2002 in Shanghai, Taipei, and Beijing (see photos) and are now held across the globe. They enable our members to network face-to-face on a regular basis, a critical aspect of the Asian business culture.

What We Hope to Accomplish

We provide networking opportunities for our members because we recognize the impact that such a powerful global network will have on the economic development of the overall region, however intangible.

Most of us have strong family ties in Asia - parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, siblings, cousins - and old friends. If we can utilize our skills, talents, and international training to help make a difference, we will. Our Happy Hours are just a means to that end.

What We Don't Do

Instead of organizing seminars, conferences, and other types of events that numerous professional associations are already doing, we actively help to promote them to our members through our various partnership programs.

Also, we are not in the business of promoting venues and prefer to patron the same upscale hotels we've used in the past. This allows us to spend our time doing what we do best.
