Happy Friday Philosophy for the Intellectuals, the Curious and the Dummies

Discussion Topic: If there is a universal moral standard, what causes the ethical values of different cultures to vary so greatly?

Program: Join us for a relaxing conversation with the intellectuals, the curious and the dummies. Learn what it means to disagree while expressing your opinion.

About the Happy Friday Branch
This branch of the Hong Kong Philosophy Cafe holds an informal discussion of a philosophical issue during happy hour on the last Friday of each month. If enough participants attend, the group may be split into beginners and deep thinkers, though participants may move from one to the other at will. There might also be a "free form" group, where the discussion can focus on any topic of mutual interest to those who join in. The philosophy is free; you pay for any food or drink you order.
